Fern

Fern came to LaunchScout wanting to make the first ever collaborative tool for businesses to prepare their convention booth. Their idea was to have all team members able to see and share their purchases, cart, and bookmarks so that the level of communication that happened outside of the tool was minimized, thereby creating a more efficient buying experience.

My team built an all-in-one eCommerce tool that allowed administrators to create trade shows and conventions, invite organizations, and other inline tools to run the convention from the application. Organizations and their teams could run through the necessary backend tasks, advertise, collaborate, and shop for everything they need to put their booth together, including hiring cleaners and laborers at weekend and special rates.

This tool was built using Ruby on Rails, React, Solidus, and a variety of other technologies.
