I’ve been a big fan of “think in systems, not goals” for a long time.
I’ve had several managers who think in goals and didn’t want to see the benefits of this.
“Goals, goals, goals!!”.
SMART Goals.
Checking stuff off ‘the list’.
That’s how they saw the world. Everything was a checkbox.
And these same people would say that building software for clients was about people.
What type of checklists of goals did they have on other people?
